  • Do you charge tax?
Yes, our studio charges 10.3% sales tax on all transactions.
  • What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattooed area: For sleeve tattoos – A tank top or sleeveless shirt is ideal. A regular T-shirt won’t work. For upper thigh or butt tattoos – Side-tie bikinis, Brazilian bikinis, thongs, or loose shorts (not tight ones) work best. For back or neck tattoos – Consider wearing or bringing a button-up shirt or hoodie that can be worn backwards. For tattoos near the bra line – Be prepared to go without a bra if necessary to prevent distortion of the design. Any clothing that needs to be held or pulled out of the way is not ideal as it can smear the stencil and increase the risk of infection. If you’re unsure, ask your artist for clothing recommendations!
  • How do I book an appointment?
A deposit is required to book an appointment. Deposit amounts vary based on the complexity of the design and the amount of time reserved. Deposits go toward the final session of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you reschedule or cancel within 72 hours of your appointment, your deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to book a new appointment. Deposits secure your appointment time and compensate the artist for design work.
  • Can I bring someone to my appointment?
Yes, you can bring someone with you, but please consider that tattoo appointments aren’t always fun for spectators once the tattoo process starts. If your tattoo requires focus, you won’t be able to talk much, as movement can affect the process. If you bring someone, it should be for support rather than entertainment. Please set realistic expectations for their visit.
  • When will I see my design?
You will see your design on the day of your appointment. What if I want to make changes to my design? If you have major changes to your design, communicate them to your artist as soon as possible. A new deposit and consultation may be required if the design process has already started. To avoid issues, come to your consultation prepared with a clear idea of what you want. If you’re unsure about your design, it’s best to wait to schedule your appointment until you’re confident in your vision. On the day of your appointment, you are allowed up to one hour of small design changes. If changes take longer than one hour, additional time will be charged at the hourly tattooing rate.
  • Do you offer consultations?
Yes! Our studio offers free in-person consultations, typically scheduled in the morning before we begin tattooing for the day. Consultations allow you to meet the artist, see the studio, and ensure the vibe is right for you. There is no pressure to book an appointment during a consultation. If you would like to book your appointment at this time a deposit is required to do so. Bring any reference images or inspiration you have. We do not copy other tattoos but will use references to create a unique design tailored to you. If you don't live near the studio, you can click the link below to fill out a booking request form. We can schedule a virtual consultation or discuss your idea via email. You can book your consultation by clicking the link below.
  • What forms of payment does your studio accept?
While cash is our preferred method of payment, we also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and UnionPay International. Please note that all non-cash payments include a 2.9% processing fee, which amounts to approximately $3 extra per $100 spent. Paying cash is the only way to avoid this fee.
  • What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring anything that will make you feel more comfortable. Bring items to keep you hydrated and snacks. Headphones and other distractions like books, games, or a tablet are great ideas. A small blanket, pillow or seat cushion are things to consider as you will be lying down or sitting possibly for hours on end! Our studio has a TV and music, but bringing personal entertainment can help make the session more enjoyable. While I love talking to clients and getting to know each other is one of my favorite parts of tattooing, conversation can be difficult during line work, so it's best to have something to keep yourself occupied.
  • How does your studio reduce plastic waste?
We are very passionate about reducing our plastic waste for a variety of reasons that align with our mission and personal values. While it is difficult to reduce waste in the sterile field since many items are single-use, we prioritize the well-being of the planet over the convenience of lower costs. Currently, we source the following items from biodegradable materials and are actively seeking alternatives for others: Single-use razors Machine bags Rinse cups Ink caps Bedsheets If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us or ask your artist directly!
  • How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Moisturize the area daily for a week leading up to your appointment, but do not apply lotion within 24 hours of your session. Stay hydrated—drink plenty of water beforehand and bring water with you. Eat a well-balanced meal with protein and complex carbohydrates before your appointment to help keep your blood sugar stable. Bring snacks—especially if you have a longer session scheduled. We keep small snacks on hand, but bringing your own complex carbs and sugary snacks is encouraged. Complex carbs and protein help stabilize blood sugar, while sugary snacks help raise blood sugar if it drops. Get a good night’s rest before your appointment. Being well-rested helps you tolerate the pain and sit through the session more comfortably. Avoid alcohol and, if possible, caffeine. Alcohol dehydrates you, thins your blood, and increases inflammation, making the process more uncomfortable and healing more difficult.❤️
  • How long are your sessions/appointments?
We typically schedule appointments in half-day or full-day timeslots. A half-day session is a four-hour timeslot, where tattooing lasts 2.5 to 3.5 hours (minimum charge: 2.5 hours). A full-day session is a six-hour timeslot (longer time slots are available but require discussing with your artist), with a minimum charge of five hours.
